At Spirka, your privacy is a core principle. The app is built with absolute respect for your personal data.

No Accounts, No Tracking

Spirka does not require you to create an account. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. Your app usage habits, favorite stations, and preferences remain exclusively on your device.

Location Data

Spirka requires access to your device's location to provide its core "zero-click" experience (finding the nearest station). This location data is processed locally on your device.

When necessary to retrieve nearby arrivals, your location coordinates (latitude and longitude only) are sent securely and anonymously to our public transport data provider, varnatraffic.com. No other device information or metadata is shared. Your location data is not shared with any other third parties, and we do not store your location history.

Stability & Bug Reporting

To improve the reliability of Spirka, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous reports when the app crashes. This includes information about the crash, device type, and operating system version. No personal information, location history, or behavioral tracking is included in these reports. This data is used solely for the purpose of fixing bugs and preventing future crashes.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Because Spirka operates on a strict "zero-account" model and does not retain your data, your data footprint is effectively erased by simply deleting the app from your device. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
